Company Profile
Founded in 2000, Braille Enterprises was established to help bridge the gap between blind and visually-impaired customers and the service industry. Most places of business are not very "service-friendly" to their blind patrons because of the lack of Braille material. At Braille Enterprises, we bridge that gap and provide all your printed materials in Braille so that your blind customers can receive the same level of service as those who are sighted. All the material is proofread for accuracy by Jessica, a Braille literacy award recipient, before it is distributed. We have worked with many fine restaurants and have completed work for the Easter Seals' Project ACTION, USDA, The Smithsonian Institution, National Federation of the Blind and J.W. Marriott and Hilton Hotels. We are proud members of The National Federation of the Blind, and serve on the Executive Board of the Maryland Chapter of The National Federation of the Blind's Parents of Blind Children.
